The 5100 has a fully self draining cockpit, just hose it out with the deck wash pump, no carpet hull liners to get wet, no bilge pump to block.
This easily driven hull is full planning at 13 knots with its variable displacement, perfect for a nice harbour cruise with a partner sipping on the bubbles, or send it at 38knots (70 km/h) to your favourite fishing spot knowing you can flip a switch to add 300kg of wave splitting power & trim tabs to keep it level to be able to send it coming home into a solid sea breeze. This boat is designed to punch through the nasty New Zealand sea breeze chop. Just fill the ballast tank, put the trim tabs down and punch home with the ease of a lot bigger boat. You will be amazed at the the handling of the fine entry with no tubes to hinder its performance. Just crisp lines to split the waves. In one metre waves the 5100 is happy at full throttle trimmed down with water ballast still doing over 20knots.
